Saturday, April 18, 2009 - Take your pooch with you on a gorgeous run or stroll at Ellwood! This 5k run/walk course will take you on a loop around the Ellwood Preserve, a course which will surround you with woodsy Eucalyptus smells, long green grasses, budding wildflowers, and an amazing view of the Pacific from the bluffs. Even more, it is currently monarch butterfly season at Ellwood! Although not directly on the course, the monarch groves are located only 1/10 mile off the course. So, bring your canine companion along with you for this fun and beautiful race and to take a glimpse of the amazing sight of the monarchs!
